Its design is one of the best in the industry however, it's costly. It's a tiny base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot clean and charged. Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30, however is less expensive and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials such as cereal.
